THE ROAD TO THE MILL !

After five years usage ,by probably more than 10,000 vehicles, the road to the wind mill , from the Chesterfield Road ,Heage, was becoming decidedly pot holed!

To the rescue came Bryan Boucher, his father John and a team of volunteers from the mill. Bryan brought along his 1922 Aveling Porter steam roller and spent two days running up and down the road, rolling in new infill material into the chipped out pot holes.

It will be a much smoother run to the windmill in future. Thank you Bryan and John!!
